Come Join Us for the First Gathering of the New Year
Saturday Jan. 10th!!
The WVWE community invites Chrysalis youth to join them for a special combined Hoot/Gathering January 10th. New board members for Chrysalis and WVWE will be dedicated during the service. Also, team members for the spring walks will be dedicated. This great time of joint fellowship will take place at the First United Methodist Church in Olney with our fellowship meal set to begin at 6:30 p.m. Please bring your favorite dish to share and drinks.
If you would like to ride with someone call Lee Harrison (217-690-4086) and he will get you connected with someone from your area!

The Chrysalis Community and the Chrysalis Board of Directors wish to extend a heartfelt thank you to the five members whose 3-year term on the board is coming to a close: Todd Koertge, Michelle Dean, Lee Harrison, Belinda Potts Miles and Steven Potts. These folks have been a blessing to the board and to the community. Their servant hood, prayerful attitude, and selfless giving have been an inspiration and a true example of what Walk to Emmaus is all about.

72 Hour Prayer Vigil for Walks #40
Many forms of agape are offered up for the Pilgrims and team during the Walk. One of the most moving and personal is the 72 Hour Prayer Chart. Remember how your heart was touched when you learned of all the people praying for you around the clock?! - It's never too early to do agape for a weekend!! We would love to have table agape, general agape and any food agape that you would like to send!! Come out an support the

Due to a work commitment, Steve Persinger will not be able to continue as Men’s Lay Director.
Brian Pride will be taking over the position for him.

As noted there will be four formation meetings to allow more time for teams to prepare for the Walks.
Men’s and Women’s teams will continue to meet at the same time and location.

One of the most important responsibilities of sponsoring is to insure new 4th Day have all the important information they need to become good sponsors themselves. Keeping them active is a big part of continual good sponsoring!
